My parent’s dog, Dexter, is 25 weeks in the photo below. He’s resting after some exercise in the park. I’ve read that labs mature at around 3 years of age—before this time they can have a significant degree of energy and are often miscategorized as being hyperactive.
Dexter enjoys retrieving his frisbee almost endlessly and other forms of activity. He’s proved to be very trainable and absolutely thrives on human attention (especially my mother’s), affection and interaction, of which he really finds it difficult to get enough.

Posted 26 Aug 2007 at 10:36 am ¶He is almost 1 year old. His birthday is Feb.02/08. He is a sweet felllow and very affectionate. He is pretty well behaved if you have a treat in your hand. (L0L) I think he is beautiful but after all he is my pup.
