Our new home is being built! Katie and I enjoy driving over to it at least once a week, thinking about what the future rooms will look like, how we’ll we arrange our furniture, what we’ll need to buy and when. Looks like we’ll close in early September.
I’m really looking forward to it, but the wait for a new home can seem interminable, though you can check on it as it’s being built. As ours will be among the first house in a new (alberit tiny) subdivision, we’re prepared to navigate through construction teams and precariously misplaced nails for a long time.
Really looking forward to that daytime hammer serenade, as well.
